Timber & Damp Survey Fees
To inspect a specific area for a problem can be inspected for a fee of £75.00 though the client would require to have a definate area in mind and the costing for the inspection would require to be confrimed with our offices prior to inspection.
The following rates are based on non-disruptive and minimum disruptive inspections of a typical two storey sandstone property with a foot print of approx 80 - 100m2:
Timber & Damp Roof Void Inspection from £100.00
Timber & Damp Inspection of single floor level from £160.00
Timber & Damp Inspection of single floor level plus Roof Void from £200.00
Timber & Damp Inspection of two floor levels from £215.00
Timber & Damp Inspection of two floor levels plus Roof Void from £250.00
Reduced rates may be applicable for smaller/part properties. Please ASK!
Inspection involving greater levels of disruption can be carried but this must be discussed and agreed prior to inspection.
Note: A minimum disruptive inspection would include lifting of previously cut boards and hatches made accessible by the client or vendor at the time of or prior to inspection.
The above survey fees specifically apply to properties lying roughly within Inverclyde / Argyll areas.
Please be aware that we have travelled as far as Peebles in the East to Inverness to the North so distance is not normally an issue though fuel costs plus any other disbursements (ferry fees etc.) must be considered.
For industrial properties or properties with unusual characteristics, please contact the Company to discuss your requirements.
For fees covering our other available services, please contact the Miller Preservation Ltd direct:
